Entry fees for student filmmakers will be waived for this season’s panel review. Directors may also enter more than one motion picture for consideration.
“The importance of independent short films currently in production, mainly has to do with artistic freedom and budget,” Desmore explain. “The idea that creates a short film, can be extended also into a feature length film, if needed. From two minutes to 48 minutes, most have quicker edits and an attention span for viewers of all ages to view newer modes of filmmaking that would otherwise be too expensive to produce for most short filmmakers.”
Along with screenings, director’s talks and live entertainment, an awards ceremony will conclude the four-day event.
A panel of judges comprising Kelly Desmore, Larni Castro, Mike Pulliam, Danni Yang, and many more…
